Quote Official exchange rate ECB Euro / Dollar
L | M | X | J | V | S | D |
These exchange rates are source BCE. They mean the following, for example, for the day XX If the exchange rate is 1.2616, it means that the exchange rate is 1 euro = 1.2616 dollars. In other words, for a check for 1,000 euros (without commissions or expenses) we could obtain 1.2616 x 1,000 = 1,261.6 dollars. If you want to get it the other way around, that is, how many euros is a dollar at, remember to do 1 / 1.2616 ; that is, the inverse of the exchange rate of the day. Therefore, 1 dollar is equivalent to 1 / 1.2616 = 0.7926 euros. This means that if they give us a check for 1,000 dollars, we would obtain (without expenses or commissions) 1000 x 0.7926 = 792.6 euros.
