What to see and visit in the Province of Seville?
The Region of Aljarafe: west of Seville. Land of orchards, orange trees and vines, it also has mountains and marshes. Residential area.

* Santiponce: roman city of ITALICA: founded in 206 BC. by Scipio El Africano, is one of the oldest cities in Roman Hispania. Very important in the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD. J.C. Trajan and Hadrian were born in this city (the latter was emperor of Rome). Many of the buildings built by them disappeared thanks to the change of course of the Guadalquivir river, during the time of Muslim occupation. The Amphitheater, part of the wall, 2 hot springs: the House of the Exedra and the House of Neptune, Traianeum: house dedicated to Trajan, Major Baths, House of the Planetarium. All objects found in the deposits are kept in the Archaeological Museum of Seville.
The Region of the Countryside: it is the most extensive area, it represents 1/3 of the province. An area very rich in archaeological remains: dolmens, Roman, Muslim remains ... As well as agriculture, hunting, livestock.
